#100happydays took off at a time when I was feeling a bit miserable. When you’re feeling like that, the reality is that seeing glossy pictures of people sharing their happiness can make you feel even more isolated. Shortly after Jess, a school friend, posted that she thought it was really important to count our blessings but asked ‘How reassuring would it be to see people’s real lives rather than the rose-tinted version we normally see on Facebook?’. It got me questioning whether maybe other people would prefer a dose of reality.
